U.S. Turbine & Accessory, LLC (USTA) is an FAA/EASA Certificated Repair Station specializing in repair and overhaul of turbine engines in support of commercial and military aviation worldwide.
USTA is currently in search of a Part Time Human Resources Manager or Consultant to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and enthusiastic with proven success in managing multiple processes. This person must have HR certifications in the human resources field, employee training and development experience, and an understanding of local, state and US government relevant HR regulations for a Taylor, Michigan based company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage Human Resources Department:
o Oversee FAA required drug & alcohol program to include pre-employment & random quarterly testing
o Coordinate recruiting, hiring & staffing including applicant screening, interview scheduling/coordination
o Oversee and implement new hire onboarding, orientation and processes.
o Seek out other hiring platforms and resources – specifically with Veteran groups
o Review and update employee manual/documentation & company policies
o Monitor and apply company policies, procedures & applicable industry policies & regulations
o Ensure organization’s compliance with employee health & safety regulations
o Monitor employee development & training progress
o Manage employee benefits & relations
o Prepare & submit bi-weekly payroll to payroll processing service provider
o Other duties and assignments as may be requested by management

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
aPHR or PHR required
CHRP preferred
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Management
3-5 years of proven success in HR management role
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
Experience will be considered in lieu of certification and education
SALARY: Commensurate with experience and/or license/certification
