Seniors Helping Seniors® matches active seniors with seniors who need help to remain living independently. We are currently seeking the best in-home, non-medical senior caregivers in the Novi, Farmington, Farmington Hills, & Wixom area. Whether you want to work 8 hours per week or up to 35 hours per week, we can support your work-life balance by giving you an opportunity by making a difference in the lives of other seniors while earning an income and maintaining your lifestyle and hobbies.
Companionship, meal prep, minor housekeeping, and respite care for family members are ways in which you can make a difference. Seniors Helping Seniors® will match our employees with our clients that share things in common, such as former professions, hobbies, or upbringing to maximize social engagement. The relationship that forms is rewarding for all!
We offer:
● Pay wages of $15 per hour
● Paid training for newly hired employees - NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
● Flexible schedules with as little as 3 hours per week
● Continuing education opportunities
Minimum requirements:
Mature individuals who consistently demonstrate patience, empathy, reliability, professionalism, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and are personable. 50+ years old (helps with compatibility).
● Willingness to work harmoniously with staff, clients, and client’s family.
● Ability to sit, stand and move intermittently during working hours. Able-bodied is a must.
● Driver's license and insured auto
● Cell phone
● Personal email account and ability to send and receive emails.
● Ability to pass a background check.
