We are looking for professional line cooks and cashiers for new concept, Greek and Lebanese cuisine. Please email resume or drop off at Woodbridge Pub (across the street).
Responsibilities- CASHIER
Answer phones and take orders
Ensure proper cash handling
Professional Guest Interaction
Cleaning of dining area and Cashier area as needed
Ensure proper order handling with guests and delivery services
Happy and positive attitude a must
Responsibilities- COOK
Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces)
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
Clean up station
Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements and Skills
Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook
Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Familiar with industry’s best practices and SOP's
An eagerness to learn and grow in the field of culinary arts
Ability to remain dependable and reliable over the long term
Passion for the craft of from scratch cooking and desire to put full effort in daily
