Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes by sautéing and using various cooking techniques, according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards.
- Ensure that all food is prepared fresh and in a timely manner, prioritizing quality and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and effective communication.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as necessary.
- Help train and mentor new kitchen staff.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a line cook, preferably in a sauté role.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Food safety certification
