Tax Preparer

Description We are in search of a Tax Preparer to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. As a Tax Preparer, your role will encompass the full cycle of 1099 processing without supervision. This includes reconciling vendor files, preparing, and issuing 1099's to vendors independently. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Independently handle the complete cycle of processing Form 1099. Employ IRS W-2 Forms, IRS W-4 Forms, and IRS W-9 Forms as required. Utilize 1099 Pro Software for processing needs. Reconcile vendor files accurately. Prepare and issue 1099's to vendors without any assistance. Ensure adherence to IRS regulations throughout all processes.
