Project:The Quality Specialist will be a team member providing an independent review of the Quality System processes, within the supplybase. The Quality Specialist ensures completion of the process to an acceptable standard, and delivery of a quality product to thecustomer at the launch of a new product.Responsibilities:Responsible for providing; on-site support at suppliers' facilities to ensure launch readiness as required leading up to and includingafter program launch.Work cross-functionally with Powertrain Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to ensure viable and technical proficientsuppliers, and manufacturing processes are selected.Driving change within both plant manufacturing and component suppliers to resolve component issues, as well as ensurecomponent suppliers' processes are robust and capable.Will lead problem solving activities with internal and external organizations, as well as manage key component quality milestones.
