Job DescriptionA customer of Insight Global is seeking a skilled IT Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, youll be the go-to person for diagnosing and fixing computer hardware, software, and network issues. Youll handle on-site and remote support, using advanced tools to solve problems quickly. Youll also lead and coordinate teams, manage inventory, install and troubleshoot systems, set up new computers, connect printers, and help with new software. Plus, youll be involved in disaster recovery, creating security plans, and keeping detailed documentation.Key Responsibilities:Manage inventory control for IT equipmentMaintain a broad system knowledge, knowledge of computer related equipment, and end user softwareInstall, debug, and deploy new computers and related hardware.Connect and configure printers and other peripherals.Assist with the installation and troubleshooting of new software packages.Develop and implement disaster recovery plans.Create and maintain system security plans.Document all processes and procedures accurately.$34hr to $44hrExact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
