As our Follo w- Up Supervisor , you will help our Follow-Up team ensure the timely collection of outstanding revenue by identifying and rectifying inefficiencies in our workflows preventing non-payment and denials of claims so the hospitals we support can focus on patient care. Every day you will make data-informed decisions to improve our revenue cycle management practices and improve the team’s collective performance. To thrive in this role, you must understand the denial and follow-up process, enjoy pulling and reviewing reports, monitor and communicate changes in processes, and communicate effectively with your team, payers, and cross-functional teams.Here’s what you will experience working as a Follow-Up Supervisor :
Reporting on multiple standards, including outstanding accounts receivable, staff attendance and timecards, productivity and quality measures
Creating PowerPoint presentations for daily huddles and bi-weekly leader meetings
Assistingfollow-up associates with account resolution by providing information from payer portals, resolving denials, and approving team write-offs for uncollectible accounts
Staying up to date with R1 follow-up processes and communicating those to the team
Preparing reports for payer meetings where assistance from the payer is required to receive payment on claims
Required Skills:
Medical insurance denial and follow-up experience preferably in an acute care (hospital) environment
Demonstrated ability to lead a team, provide and receive feedback, and be a role model
Detail-oriented and organized, ability to create folders and keep organized files in One Note
Excel skills including formatting and filtering reports and pivot tables
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $40,305.57 - $63,822.00 per year .
