Atlas Precision Builders LLC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented In-House Accountant to join our growing team. This role is a full-time, in-office position based in Michigan, and is critical to the success of our residential construction operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage budgeting for multiple ongoing projects
- Schedule and manage payouts for subcontractors
- Send out contracts to clients for project commencement
- Ensure all subcontractors receive and sign contracts prior to starting work
- Track and assist in client collections, when necessary
- Maintain up-to-date financial records and reports
- Work closely with operations and field teams to ensure accurate and timely accounting
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of accounting experience (construction industry preferred)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial management software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available to work in-office daily
