We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Assistant to join our accounting team. In this role, you will assist with various bookkeeping functions, including managing accounts receivable, reconciling accounts, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the preparation of financial reports. Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter and categorize financial transactions into QuickBooks.
Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card accounts, and other financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Process invoices, track payments, and collection of receivables.
Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records, including receipts, invoices, and contracts.
Support the budgeting process by providing financial data and analysis.
Adhere to company policies and relevant financial regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Work closely with accountants and other team members to assist with financial audits and resolve any discrepancies.
Qualifications:
QuickBooks Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in using QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial management (recommended but not required)
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial transactions and records.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly.
Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion and integrity.
