Maintain fleet of vehicles used for technology development purposes and provide status report on currenthardware along with status on updates
- Support dynamometer testing (not as an operator) for evaluating controls concepts
- Debug issues related to new hardware integration into vehicle platform
- Document vehicle hardware interface and develop an outline for new requirements
- Manage documentation on vehicle update version levels and hardware specification repository
- Collaborate with control system supplier engineering teams, client PT calibration teams, feature software
- Attend Design Review, Sub-System Feature Team, Change Control Board, and Program Implementation
- 3+ years developing or integrating engine control/hardware components
- Experience with engine sensor hardware
- Experience with powertrain control systems
- Familiarity with and access to client Company test facilities
- Knowledge of air charge / torque control / boost control engine strategy a plus
- Analyze data results
- Validation review of data tested
- Calibration method documentation collaboration
- Maintain and process vehicle work orders
