LEO Lecturer I - AnthropologyApply NowHow to ApplyPlease upload a cover letter, CV or resume, and a statement of teaching philosophy.SummaryThe Anthropology Program in the Behavioral Sciences Department in the College of Arts, Sciences, and Letters (CASL) invites applicants for a one semester Lecturer I position in Anthropology, starting July 1, 2024 through August 31, 2024, toteachone section of ANTH 430 (Medical Anthropology). This class is listed as 100% online, asynchronously using the Canvas LMS platform. It is a 4 credit, upper level class, with a maximum anticipated enrollment of approximately 30 students. Applications will be accepted through May 13, 2024.This course is a comprehensive examination of the cultural factors that play a role in illnesses and healing. Students will explore and evaluate different perspectives concerning the causes of disease, the prevention and treatment of illness, ways of healing, modern biomedicine, and medical/healthcare systems.
