POSITION DESCRIPTIONData Factory Engineers will be responsible for designing the transformation and modernization of Ford's big data solutions on Google Cloud Platform cloud integrating native Google Cloud Platform services and 3rd party data technologies.

Experience with large scale solutioning and operationalization of data warehouses, data lakes and analytics platforms on Google Cloud Platform is a must.
We are looking for candidates who have a broad set of technology skills across these areas and who can demonstrate an ability to design right solutions with appropriate combination of Google Cloud Platform and 3rd party technologies for deploying on Google Cloud Platform cloud.

Required Skills / Experience

Minimum of 5 years of overall experience.In-depth understanding of Google's product technology and underlying architectures. Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) Certification preferred.
3+ years of application development experience required including Google Cloud Platform knowledge
Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform based Big Data deployments (Batch/Real-Time) leveraging Big Query, Big Table, Google Cloud Storage, Pub-Sub, Data Fusion, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud functions etc.

Preferred Skills / Experience Java, J2EE, PCF, Google Cloud Platform Certified
