What you'll do…Do you desire to be an electrical hardware engineer with emphasis in digital design? You will be part of an engineering team working on next generation modules for vehicles. We're looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to work on a team to development compatible electrical systems including hardwire signals, digital signals, and the modules/Electrical Control Units (ECUs) that support these signals. This individual will be responsible resolving complex cross sub-system hardware and software compatibility issues. The individual will define the Electronic Control Module interfaces in the vehicle system including communication over a network, micro controller definition, microcontroller boot up time, module power distribution strategy, and module grounding strategy. The engineer with interface daily with a dynamic team to incorporate the Electronic Control Module design direction into the core methods, process and tools which enable engineering efficiencies.· Work on a team to development compatible electrical systems by solving electrical system/component compatibility issues in the forward model electrical system vehicle development.· Creating innovative engineering solutions by developing algorithms to replace manual engineering tasks.· Deliver Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA) to enable the robust deliver of electronic Module Designs.· Perform rigorous mathematical evaluation of circuit performance attributes against tolerance limits, under simulation of unfavorable conditions.· Perform Module Interface Margin Analysis (MIMA) to enable the robust deliver of electronic systems.· Investigating WCCA tools for validation.· Implement WCCA Ford standards.· Develop WIKI to monitor architecture latency issue for selected microcontrollers.· Develop scripts using C, C, Python or JAVA software coding to automate core systems tools / processes.· Develop repositories to house EE Core systems requirements.· Develop tool process changes to enhance Core Systems work.· Develop new digital methods, processes and tools for Core Systems.· Must be willing to travel occasionallyYou'll have…

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.

Experience with electric circuit design and/or analysis

Coding experience (C, C, Python, JAVA)
