Join us and challenge your IT expertise and analytical skills to help create vehicles that are as smart as you are.The America’s VO/PTO Site Process Manager (SPM) is responsible for:- the First Point of Contact (FPOC) when Site Management (SM) at America’s VO/PTO plants need assistance with issue escalation and resolution - FPOC for information gathering / dissemination to/from plants, e.g. for SM strategy and implementation. The SPM is responsible for helping the sites to coordinate all IT services, including the planning, implementation and support of all IT systems and physical infrastructure. The SPM is the escalation contact for IT incidents - depending on the sites; this may include 24X7 operations and support of critical business functions. This position is a demanding, highly visible position that requires strong leadership and technical skills, and frequent off-hour, weekend, and holiday work.What you’ll be able to do :

“Run and Protect” all IT services at America's sites, including networks, servers, PCs, and applications

Escalate issues as appropriate to global support teams, and provide on-site to those teams as required

Balance business needs, such as 24x7 operations, with IT priorities, such as deployment of critical patches

Support major business and IT initiatives such as New Model Program launches and infrastructure upgrades

Build and maintain strong relationships with site business partners, acting as the “face of IT”

Keep abreast of evolving business and IT policy changes, such as security policies, to keep sites in compliance and prepared for audits

Lead forums such as Roundtable discussions with other Site Management (SM) colleagues to learn and share SM concerns, and contribute to process improvement recommendations, initiative prioritization, budget and resource decisions

Keep IT leadership apprised of issues, business concerns, and other significant events

Coordinate issues and effectively communicate with the other regional SPM’s

Regular visits to America's VO/PTO plants to assist SM teams with various SM processes, guidance, training, and audit compliance

Building and maintaining a strong network of contacts within various areas of IT to understand IT priorities and trends and help with issue resolution

The minimum requirements we seek :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

4+ years of technical experience in the following areas:

Networks, PCs, servers, and relevant applications

Incident, Problem & Change Management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management with varying areas of IT, business, and vendors

Our preferred requirements :

Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Strong IT background including an understanding of Operational Technology (OT) systems

Manufacturing business processes competency
