Description Robert Half currently has an opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk with Epicor experience. Based out of the Clinton Twp, Michigan area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / contract opening. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be required to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. Major responsibilities
Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
Provide support during internal and external audits
Carry out additional projects as required
Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners
Accomplish full-cycle A/P
Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department
Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling Requirements - Epicor ERP experience required
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Great attention to detail
Purchase Orders experience
Accounts Payable (AP) experience required
