Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in CLARKSTON, Michigan. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office and effectively handling our communication systems.Responsibilities: Manage the main office switchboard, directing inbound calls to the appropriate parties. Coordinate office operations, which include managing mail distribution and overseeing office supply orders. Handle administrative tasks as needed to support the efficient functioning of the office. Act as the first point of contact for visitors, both in person and over the phone. Adapt to rapidly changing situations, maintaining a high level of organization and multitasking abilities. Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with both internal and external clients. Utilize Microsoft Outlook to manage and schedule appointments. Perform data entry tasks as required, ensuring accurate and up-to-date customer records. Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions based on account status. Requirements Proficient in managing and answering inbound calls Demonstrated ability in providing exceptional customer service Proficient in data entry tasks Experience with managing both inbound and outbound calls Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook Ability to schedule appointments effectively and efficiently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize workload High level of discretion and judgement in handling confidential information Ability to work independently and within a team environment Experience in administrative support or similar role is beneficial Proficiency in additional office software such as Microsoft Excel or Word is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
