Description:Our staff is searching for a welder who has solidified skills with MIG AND TIG welding to work for an aerospace shop. Prior experience in aerospace or military and an AWS certification is highly preferred. You will need to pass a welding test in order to get hired. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Welds on aluminum and steel aerospace tools
Tig Welding on Invar and Aluminum completing vertical ups
Mig welding on steel completing flat welds
Reading blueprints to know how thick of welds they are doing and what patterns need to be completed
Complete some of the prep work with 4'' and 7' grinders
The size of the tools you'll weld on varies, some are extremely large and some are very small.
Pay Rate/Shift:
$25-$35/hour based on experience level/years
2x 1st Shift Openings: 5 am - 3:30 pm or 6 am - 4:30 pm (for 10-hour days) - longer for 12-hour shifts
Sat - 8 hours (Mandatory)

1+ years of Aerospace or Military welding experience
Tool building or Fitting experience

Invar Welding (36% nickel and 64% steel)
Disqualifiers:
Candidates who have had numerous jobs and bounce around from place to place.
Candidates who are straight out of welding school.
