Description We are in search of a Help Desk Analyst II, based in Byron Center, Michigan, United States. The position is within the telecom industry, and it offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. The role primarily involves providing technical support and assistance to users, resolving hardware and software related issues, and maintaining databases.Responsibilities: Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Respond to queries either in person or over the phone. Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software. Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems. Install computer peripherals for users. Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems. Resolve technical problems with EO/IR systems. Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved. Gain feedback from customers about computer usage. Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur. Utilize Citrix Technologies, Database, Lotus Notes, Microsoft, and Active Directory skills to fulfill job responsibilities. Requirements Proficiency in Citrix Technologies Familiarity with Database management Experience in EO/IR systems Proficient in Lotus Notes Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite Proficient in Active Directory Experience with Computer Hardware Knowledge of Configuration Management Experience in Deskside Support Familiarity with Desktop Hardware Ability to work in a team environment Strong problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent customer service skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Familiarity with ITIL processes Knowledge of network protocols, server hardware and configurations Experience with Windows OS, Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office Suite Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
