Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is looking for a motivated, team-building individual to fill a Full Time Human Resources Recruiterposition in our Burton Administration offices to cover the Mid-Michigan area. Objective: To research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. Full Time Position at $18.50 an hour with90 day review 20% discount on in-store purchases. Benefits? I'm glad you asked!

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Develops, facilitates, and supports all phases of the recruitment process

Collaborates with department managers to identify and execute recruiting needs.

Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

Conducts all job postings and advertisement processes with the VP of Retail on a regular basis.

Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.

Schedules interviews; oversees the preparation of interview questions and other hiring selection materials.

Participates in the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.

Conduct background and credentialing checks as needed for both new hires and promotions.

Attends and Participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions.

Develop and maintain Stay Surveys, analyzing retention data.

Oversees the Volunteer program for the agency.

Conduct annual driving record checks verifying driving eligibility.

Conducts the annual EEOC report.

Think you've got what it takes?

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred. Some college education is required.

Two years of direct recruiting experience, managing all phases of the process.

Experience in proactive sourcing tactics.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Strong social and leadership skills with attention to detail.

Excellent time management skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Proficient in record keeping and data management, including basic computer literacy.

Social awareness, emotional intelligence, and cultural competency sufficient to engage effectively with, and earn trust of, diverse populations.
