Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent support to our firm's end-users, resolving any IT issues, and maintaining the firm's helpdesk ticketing system. This position requires strong technical problem-solving and communication skills.Responsibilities: Provide in-person and virtual support to all firm-wide users. Track, prioritize, and ensure timely resolution of support tickets using the firm's helpdesk ticketing system. Assist users with resetting passwords, unlocking accounts, and managing user accounts in compliance with firm policies and security protocols. Support the use of common firm software applications such as Microsoft Office and various web browsers. Troubleshoot hardware issues and perform basic repairs or replacements as necessary. Assist users with network connectivity issues and help configure network settings. Administer enterprise mail application, including adding/removing users and configuring permissions. Take ownership of tasks and follow through to ensure complete resolution and customer satisfaction. Learn new technologies, applications, and software proactively through online materials or training guides. Clearly and simply articulate technical information to non-technical personnel. Understand and proficiently use various computer software, including word processing and desktop publishing, databases, and spreadsheets. Utilize skills in Citrix Technologies, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Mac Computers, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, and Deskside Support. Requirements Proven experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar Proficient knowledge of Citrix Technologies Familiarity with Dell Technologies Understanding of EO/IR systems Proficient in using and maintaining Mac Computers Working knowledge of Microsoft software and tools Proficient in using Active Directory Strong knowledge of computer hardware Experience in configuration management Experience in handling deployments Proficient in providing deskside support Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team and independently IT-related certification or degree is preferred Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
