Two Fellers Live Edge Lumber is a specialty sawmill & custom furniture builder offering a variety of live edge slabs. We take great pride in our variety of items and process by which we reclaim lumber and transform it into attractive items for your home! We have a unique opportunity for a talented and self-motivated Sales Consultant (“SC”) to take a lead role in growing our business!
You should have 8-12 or more years of experience in a retail environment selling specialty and/or custom-built items. The SC will work from our retail location at 383 W. Chicago Street in Coldwater and service all walk-in customers as well as answer the store phone. In addition, the SC will be responsible for further developing the store’s e-commerce business utilizing both social media and the company’s website to drive orders. A background in Live Edge Lumber and/or woodworking is desirable but not required if the candidate can demonstrate a working knowledge of this industry and eagerness to learn.
Note: This position requires a self-starter with a focus on growing this business. Store walk-in traffic is relatively light allowing the SC time to focus on building the online business base. The ideal candidate combines skillsets in: retail sales, online sales, social media, and custom product/Live Edge lumber/woodworking. An ability to transition consumer interest into sales is important as many customers lack product knowledge and need guidance relative to making their purchase decision.

Compensation and Work Schedule:
An annual base salary of $30K - $40K depending upon experience.
A sales commission (paid quarterly) that is uncapped. Target commission at budget is $20K/yr.
Work is on-site Tues - Sat from 8:30am – 5:00pm at 383 W Chicago St, Coldwater, MI 49036.
Occasional additional hours and some flexibility required.
Paid Vacation and Holiday schedule. No health/medical coverage.
