Wiring Harness Design Release Engineer

Job Summary:The Wire Harness Design and Release Engineer is responsible for the design and release of wiring harness assemblies and related components. This role involves coordinating drawing creation in both 2D (Capital XC) and 3D (NX via Teamcenter), as well as ensuring proper validation of components in both vehicle and component environments.Key Responsibilities:Design and release wiring harness assemblies and related componentsCreate and manage 2D drawings using Capital XC and 3D models using NX within TeamcenterValidate released components through testing in both vehicle and component-level environmentsSupport manufacturing and supplier facilities throughout the product life cycleManage and resolve design issues identified at the plant or reported by suppliersProcess and implement engineering change requests (ECRs) from manufacturing plants and suppliersManage large volumes of data and incorporate design updates into current and future vehicle programs
