- Responsible to manage all Electrified Powertrain Power Electronic module warranty claims. Ensure warranty claims are filed promptly and accurately. Collect data from OEM's Warranty Information System. Work within the Powertrain Customer Advocate Group and Design Release Engineer to resolve issues. Monitor monthly all power device module warranty claims. Provide monthly report and present to the upper management.
- Requirements:
- -Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering plus 2-4 years of practical experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience in product development responsibility.
- Understanding of Electronics devices in the automotive application. DFMEA and DVP&R experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated, organized, and able to multi-task. Take initiative in completing tasks. Experienced with supplier program management.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. Understanding of electrical engineering protocols and standards.
- -Strongly prefer previous hybrid / high voltage experience.
- Prior experience coding warranty claims.
- Previous battery charger, inverter, DC to DC experience a plus.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Power electronics/electrical models and simulation experience
- Power electronics specifications expertise
- Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and fabrication experience
- Semi-conductor manufacturing knowledge
- 1 Year is fine (Warranty part management preferred)
- Onsite/ Remote Hybrid
- No driving of a company vehicle
- Amount of travel, of so where: 20% (Supplier facilities)
