Development & Validation Engineer – Transmissions & Driveline

We are seeking a Development & Validation Engineer to design, develop, and validate transmission, driveline, and gear reducer components and systems. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional propulsion and vehicle engineering groups, including controls, calibration, thermal management, engine, and e-motor teams. The engineer will ensure that system performance, durability, and quality objectives are met from development through product launch.Key Responsibilities:Lead system-level DFMEA development, requirements definition, DVPR, and test execution.Conduct and manage validation testing to meet functional and durability goals.Participate in post-test reviews, including failure analysis and triage investigations.Support assembly plant activities to ensure smooth product launches.Drive root cause analysis of development issues to improve robustness of function, performance, efficiency, and drivability.Support field warranty and quality investigations by leading root cause analysis and validating corrective actions.
