Our client has an exciting and challenging opportunity to serve as a SCCM Operations Administrator within the Device and Application Management team. The role focuses on utilizing the Microsoft System Center Configuration Management SCCM product for software, device, deployment, infrastructure and platform management. The desired work location is in Midland, MI. This position will be remote until the office opens back up from COVID.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Organizes, schedules, and delivers global deployments of software applications Manages deployment of all operating system patches, critical updates and feature updates Creates logical groups of users and devices collections Provides client support, troubleshooting, technical issue resolution and root cause analysis Configures operating system deployment tasks and components Designs and develops device configuration settings Participates in after-hours support schedule Partners with application teams to ensure business software is tested and follows release management guidelines Coordinates with packaging teams to deliver a productive, consistent, and reliable employee experience when utilizing a workstation Utilizes scripting languages PowerShell, VBScript to automate processes and activities Monitors the health and performs periodic platform upgrades of the SCCM hierarchy Documents or revises user remediation and technical process and procedures Designs and creates custom dashboards and reports based on functional requirements Builds queries utilizing SQL and WQL Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: 3-5 years of demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager SCCM SCCM deployment and infrastructure knowledge including troubleshooting, and implementation experience Experience with Windows desktop and server operating system platform administration, configuration, and support Experience with monitoring of ticketing system, prioritizing problems, supporting projects, and supporting enterprise level infrastructure Experience installing, patching/maintaining, and troubleshooting applications and operating systems Proficiency in software development and/or scripting languages Moderate understanding of network infrastructure, desktop virtualization, and IT security Additional Details:- This role is supported by the Kelly Centralized Recruiting Team, not your local Kelly branch.
