Drinkmate is a fast growing, at-home beverage and carbonation product developer. We are currently looking to hire 1-2 dedicated full-time warehouse team member, working Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, for a 40 hour week.
We are looking for a disciplined go getter, with a rock solid work ethic, with a sharp eye for detail, the ability to work independently with good productivity, as well as cohesively in a group. If you constantly need to be on your phone, or need to be told what to do continually throughout the day, then this job is not for you. We put a high emphasis on accuracy, and you will be required to be present and paying attention to the task at hand. The ability to recognize necessary critical preparatory task is crucial to our efficient system, and you will need to become aware of finer details of the warehouse operation.
The work is straightforward, but is fast paced and will require a lot of physicality. Including, but not limited to: standing for long periods of time, repetitive movements for long periods of time, bending and etc Some warehouse or similar experiences such as operating a forklift, order fulfillment is a plus, but we are willing to train enthusiastic individuals.
Some of your general and daily duties would include:
Pick and pack customer orders by SKU#
Process cylinder exchanges , including data entry, sorting/emptying/stacking cylinders as needed.
Process returns and warranty orders
Assembling/Preparing kits and cylinder packs.
Organize warehouse stock in a FIFO system.
Unload/load shipping containers.
Assist with bulk order assembly.
Prepare/stack packing boxes, breaking old down boxes.
Maintain the cleanliness of work stations, including sweeping floors, carting trash to the dumpster, cleaning facilities.
Restocking workstations.
Other walk-in tasks
This position starts as a 1099 independent contractor, for a term of no more than 90 days. Then it will become a W2 full-time position.
Overtime may be required during the holiday season; this runs generally from Mid-November until the beginning of January, which is compensated for by leaving early during the slow season.
