I'm a 33 year old physically disabled man with muscular dystrophy seeking a full time or part time caregiver. I have a trach/ventilator but free training will be provided. I require assistance with ADL's, personal care and getting out into the community for medical appointments, sometimes visiting friends, checking out museums, etc. I enjoy watching documentaries, movies/shows, listening to music, gaming, tinkering with computer related things or building PCs.
Looking for someone for 6-10 hours a day, 2-4 days a week, weekend availability. You're welcome to work on homework, read a book, etc. or be prepared to help build a computer or tinker. Pay is $16-18 an hour. Hours are somewhat flexible.
Requirements:
- CPR/First Aid certified (free online training provided)
- Blood Bourne pathogens certified (free online training provided)
- Recipients Rights certified (free training provided)
- Respectful and compassionate
- Reliable transportation
