Responsibilities

Perform cell culture including maintenance of human induced pluripotent stem cells(hiPSCs).

Differentiate hiPSCs into cardiomyocytes (hiPSC-CMs).

Perform optical mapping experiments and wet lab techniques such as western blot, immunofluorescence, nucleic acid isolation and downstream molecular biology techniques such as QPCR.

Required Qualifications

Associate Degree.

1-3 years experience.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.

Previous experience with pluripotent stem cells preferred.

Work LocationsThe work will take place at the beautiful North Campus Research Complex and requires eventual weekend rotation to care for stem cells and differentiations.Background ScreeningMichigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.
