We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and possess excellent organizational skills. With at least 2yrs of QuickBooks experience needed.
```Duties```
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements
- Record debits and credits accurately in the general ledger
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
- Assist with the preparation of journal entries and month-end closing procedures
- Using QuickBooks and Excel spreadsheets
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Dealing with independent contractors making sure all have truck insurance and W-9s
- Filing and handling tickets and paperwork from independent truckers
- Receivables and payables experience

- Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related field
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and financial concepts
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
