Dispatcher Wanted
Performance Trans. Inc., local transportation company specializing in the transportation of petroleum products, flatbed and heavy equipment throughout MA, NH, RI and NY.
Looking for part-time or full-time dispatcher. You will serve as a point of contact for our customers and drivers. The ideal dispatcher should be detail orientated and have good communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
Receive, schedule and dispatch customer orders
Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance
Maintain records of route changes as well as delivery and pick-up time changes
Job Requirements:
Experience as a Truck Dispatcher or similar industry (preferred) – Willing to train
High School Diploma or GED
Experience with Transportation Management Software a plus
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
