Licensed Plumber/Pipefitter

As a Licensed Plumber/Pipefitter, you will work under the direction of company supervisors who will direct your daily activities at client sites. These activities will include a wide range of mechanical disciplines, such as cutting and threading of pipe, assembling and installing industrial equipment, and fabrication and welding of structural members. During the course of a normal work week, you may report to several different client sites.

As a team member you will represent the eyes and ears of the company, effectively communicating technical information, reinforcing high quality workmanship, and positively reinforcing the company safety goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Arriving at determined job sites on time and in proper condition to perform physical work.

- Effectively take direction and ability to react to dynamic work environment.

- Thorough understanding of the safe operation of mechanic position tooling.

- Physical installation of industrial piping, mechanical equipment, and systems.

- Effective communication with supervisor on project regarding productivity, scheduling, and safety issues.

- Maintain clean work area

- Complete paperwork in a timely and efficient manner

- Install, repair, and replace various commercial systems

Safety & Physical Demands

- Daily OHSA Pre-Work Safety Meetings & Check with on-site crew

- Adherence to all Safety Standards as outlined within The RISE Group's Safety Policy

- Maintenance of OSHA 10 Hour Training

- Ability to lift weight up to 40lbs in both a vertical and horizontal range of motion, as needed.

- Ability to crawl, stoop, stand, reach (push/pull) & bend as needed

- Ability to drive and walk around on job sites, indoor and outdoor environments

- Ability to ascend or descend on extension ladders, step ladders and stairs using feet and/or hands and arms, as needed.

- Ability to work in confined or high places.

Qualifications

- 1 to 3 years’ experience in Industrial environments

- Experience with mechanical work including pipefitting, sheet metal, and plumbing trades

- Experience with work in the field with multiple trades

- OSHA-10 Certified

- MA plumbing or pipefitting license

Technical & Miscellaneous

- Ability to read and communicate information from MEP Drawings, As Built Drawings, Schematic Drawings,

- Equipment Operations & Maintenance Documents, etc.

- Ability to ensure compliance with applicable codes.

- Competency in Technology use for Microsoft Windows and Office including Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook, & iOS/Android Mobile Devices

-Professional and positive attitude that promotes collaboration with team members

-Valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required
