Position Summary
As a NETCO Foreman, you will lead a dedicated crew in the reconditioning and maintenance of clay tennis courts, upholding our standards of excellence. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations, ensuring job preparedness, training crew members, and maintaining effective communication with both peers and management. A customer-focused attitude and professional conduct are essential traits for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage crew members in daily and weekly court reconditioning tasks.
- Train and supervise crew members on all aspects of court maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate with the Field Operations Manager to review and execute job orders.
- Communicate any changes or additions to work orders promptly.
- Prepare equipment and materials for daily tasks and ensure readiness for the following day.
- Execute all clay court maintenance activities, including material loading, weed removal, scarifying, material spreading, tape application, net setup, etc.
- Ensure accurate tracking of progress, issues, and customer specifications for future playability and satisfaction.
- Manage machinery and equipment loading, organization, and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a foreman or leadership role.
- Solid understanding and experience in landscaping or construction tasks and crew supervision.
- Proficient in time management with strong organizational skills.
- Availability to start work at the NETCO depot at 6am M-F. Saturday work optional.
- Reliable transportation to and from depot in Franconia, NH; housing available in Franconia if needed.
- Possession of a valid U.S. driver’s license and Medical Card.
- Ability to lift 80lbs or more on a daily basis.
- High school diploma or GED; certification or experience in landscaping/construction/trade-related fields preferred.
Work Environment:
- Physical agility and stamina to perform various tasks including lifting, bending, and kneeling.
- Exposure to outdoor environmental conditions such as rain and extreme temperatures
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and adapt to peak load situations during the seasonal workload fluctuations.
