We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with specific experience in working with all makes and models. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles while providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues accurately.
Conduct repairs and maintenance on various automotive systems, to include but not limited to engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
Align vehicles according to manufacturer specifications to ensure optimal performance.
Utilize automotive software (Mitchell, Identifix, scanners) to provide accurate repairs.
Collaborate with service advisors to communicate findings and recommend necessary repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development.
Experience:
Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician in a dealership or independent shop setting.
Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and powertrain diagnostics.
Experience working specifically with all makes and models is preferred but not required.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
