We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Project Coordinator/Project Management Intern to join our team. You will work closely with our project managers and contractors, providing support in various aspects of construction project oversight. This role is ideal for recent graduate with a passion for construction, real estate, and property development.
What You’ll Do:
- Support project managers in budgeting, cost estimation, and resource allocation for apartment renovations and campground upgrades.
- Participate in meetings with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders, taking notes and following up on action items.
- Conduct research and gather information related to local building codes, permits, and regulations.
- Assist with site inspections to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Help manage and track project timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
- Learn and grow in both construction and real estate investing, with the potential to take on new responsibilities as the business expands.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Assist with the ordering and logistics of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Construction/Project Management, business management or a related field.
- Strong interest in the real estate development and construction industries, particularly apartment renovations and campground upgrades.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with construction management software (e.g., AppFolio ) is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic site measurements, assessments, and troubleshooting.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
