We Are Hiring! Line Cook Position Now Available!
Have experience working in a restaurant or golf course kitchen? The Woods of Westminster is looking for a full-time Line Cook for the 2023 season.
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Work with kitchen and management staff daily
Setup, organize and maintain clean workspace
Maintain up to date knowledge of recipes, procedures and plating of all menu, special and promo items
Prepares grill/char grill/sald/sandwich/entrée items to recipe or special order
Meets timing standards
Coordinates orders with others, assists co-workers as needed
Works cooperatively with front of house staff to respond to guest needs
Maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food safety best practices through shift As required: stock taking, cleaning, opening and closing tasks; and any other duties designated by the management team or kitchen leader
Comply with OSHA guidelines
Qualifications:
Previous experience grilling, salad and sandwich preparation, pans and deep frying
Ability to multi-task and react quickly in a fast-paced environment
Ability to organize, prioritize and accomplish a variety of tasks or demands
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills
Team player Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hrs
Ability to regularly lift or push up to 35 lbs.
