We are seeking a Horseback Trail Guide to join our team. As a Horseback Trail Guide, you will be responsible for leading guided horseback rides through scenic trails and providing an enjoyable and educational experience for our guests. Responsibilities:
- Lead guided horseback rides through designated trails
- Ensure the safety of guests during trail rides
- Provide basic instruction on horseback riding techniques for beginners
- Educate guests about local wildlife, flora, and fauna during the trail ride
- Communicate effectively with guests, answering questions and providing information
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times
- Assist with the care and grooming of horses before and after rides
- Ensure that all equipment is adequately maintained and in good working condition
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous and ongoing horseback riding experience
- Open-minded to gain ongoing improved horsemanship skills
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for guests
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely departures and arrivals
- Leadership skills to guide and manage groups of riders effectively
- Public speaking skills to engage and educate guests during trail rides
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be physically fit and able to handle horses confidently
- High school diploma or equivalent
