Seeking a full-time Petroleum Storage Tank Inspector. You will be trained on the understanding of the requirements for facilities with above and below ground fuel systems. You will be trained on tank systems, piping systems, electronic monitoring systems, and regulatory documentation requirements.
Qualifications
Much of the work will be centralized in the eastern part of MA, along with CT and RI.
Ability to work on your own with little or no supervision.
Mechanical aptitude is desirable.
Those with strong character and work ethic who want to work hard.
Safety minded individuals who understand the importance of following protocols
Someone who is comfortable using handheld electronic devices for reporting.
Able to meet physical qualifications including lifting requirements for the job.
This position requires travel to job sites on a regular basis, as such a candidate must be able to meet the Driver’s Safety Policy criteria.
Good organizational and multi-tasking skills and clear and concise communication skills, as well as clear analytical thought processes.
Technical understanding and insight in the field is a plus but not necessary.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and evaluations of components involved in the total fuel systems management equipment including dispensers, tanks, piping, electronic testing components and monitoring devices, spill bucket installation and repair, installation, and O&M of systems components.
There will be close and frequent interaction with clientele and general public at site locations.
