We are seeking a highly self motivated individual with a minimum of 5 years kitchen experience.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced individual who has a passion for the food industry while leading a kitchen staff.
You will have all of the tools needed to succeed including a new state of the art kitchen, great work environment plus an on-site owner to provide you with support when needed.
This position of Kitchen Lead will require you to work in a fast paced environment and lead a team that ensures great food quality to our guests while being served in a very timely manner.
Our fast casual restaurant serving Pizza, Pasta, Seafood, Chicken, Grinders, Steak, Salads and more is open 7 days a week, so evenings and weekends are a must. Our guests have the option for In-house dining, Take-out, Catering or Delivery, so your ability to adjust on the fly is a must.
Your skills and duties would/should include but not be limited to:
Interview and hire new kitchen staff
Train current and new kitchen staff
Great organizational skills
Knowledge of a wide range of recipes
Supervise food prep and cooking
Schedule kitchen staff shifts
Check food plating
Order food supplies and ingredients
Maintain proper inventory
Maintain kitchen equipment
Comply with all health department regulations for cleanliness and food prep
Create new menu items
We are offering a compensation package of a salary plus bonuses, paid vacations, health insurance, life insurance and disability.
Salary range of $50,000 - $60,000 for a 40 hour work week based on experience and qualifications.
