From $15.50 per hour and up for a diet/kitchen aide to higher for a cook
Sudbury Pines Extended Care seeks an experienced cook for 5:30-1:30pm and 11:30-7:30pm shifts and Diet Aides 7-3pm, 3:30-7:30pm and 11:30-7:30pm - Every other Weekend Commitment a must! The company is a skilled nursing facility with a Child Daycare center attached - the daycare is subsidized for the staff and is open 7-6pm - infants, toddlers, and preschoolers - school age children during the Pandemic allowed.
For the Cook position a Serve Safe certification preferred as well as experience cooking in a nursing home with the therapeutic diets and mechanical alterations to the food. During the Pandemic surging in MA we did not close and the staff received Hazard Pay. The Daycare did not close either and we were an Essential Daycare for First Responders and were allowed to take school age children which was FREE to all staff while the Governor had the state on shutdown which everyone knows will happen again this winter and spring.

Job Duties:
Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
Restock items as needed throughout the shift
Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
