SCOPE:The Regional Controller will have hands-on responsibilities in all areas of accounting including reconciliation, fixed assets, AP/AR, payroll, financial statement preparation/ review, year-end audit, working capital management etc.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Financial report preparation, analysis and forecastingCollaborate with corporate accounting, FP&A, and tax functions to meet compliance and achieve company objectives.Oversee daily finance operations, month-end close, and ensure accuracy in financial processes.Supervise a team of 2 direct reports and their 6 team members, ensuring efficient workflows, accuracy, and timely completion. Provide training and identify process improvements.Maintain general ledger accuracy through review of journal entries and reconciliations, resolving discrepancies.Lead annual financial audits and support tax, payroll, and other audit processes.Ensure timely production of financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) in compliance with company and financial standards.Partner with the Director of Reporting to address complex accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.Monitor regional performance vs. budget/forecast, identify variances, and collaborate with teams to stay on target.Support financial analysis and reporting requests from Sales, Operations, and Finance teamsManage U.S. cash flow forecasting and reporting, and support budgeting and ad hoc reporting needs.Compliance,Internal Control, Policies and ProceduresEstablish and maintain robust internal controls and drive continuous process improvementsCollaborate with the Tax Director to manage timely tax filings and payments.Work with the Tax Director to manage quarterly and yearly tax payments to ensure timely filing.o Oversee data for the Physician Sunshine Act, Sales & Use Tax, and government surveys/census reporting.Ensure adherence to corporate policies, quality systems, health, safety, and environmental standards.Working Capital ManagementReview and set contract payment terms with customers and vendors.Proactively manage accounts receivable, identify collection delays, and implement plans to improve DSO and reduce overdue balances.Ensure payment schedules align with contractual terms.Regularly review inventory aging and turnover with functional teams to optimize capital efficiency.Payroll, Team management and Ad-hoc ProjectsManages the payroll function for all America entities including but not limited to payroll preparation, processing and reporting, maintaining payroll files and meeting all statutory and regulatory requirements.Strengthen the finance team by coaching, mentoring, and supporting regional expansionLead ad hoc projects and participate in formal training as required
