Description We are in search of a Sr. Tax Accountant to join our team located in Westwood, Massachusetts. This role is within a CPA firm, offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As a Sr. Tax Accountant, you will be tasked with managing client accounts, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with tax laws. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a solid work ethic, and experience in a CPA firm.Responsibilities: Oversee the processing and completion of accurate tax returns for clients ranging in revenue from 400K to 6/7mil. Utilize software such as Bloomberg Terminal, ERP, and other financial tools to manage accounting functions and capital management. Conduct a thorough audit of client accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance. Utilize QuickBooks Online for managing and maintaining client accounts. Ensure that cash activity and transactions are properly recorded and monitored. Uphold compliance with tax laws and regulations, ensuring all accounting activities adhere to legal standards. Maintain a strong work ethic, especially during tax season, managing workload effectively. Leverage technical skills to improve efficiency and accuracy in tax processing and accounting functions. Respond to customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly and professionally. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements Proficiency in using Bloomberg Terminal is essential. Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of Business Systems. Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is required. Expertise in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must. Must have experience with Financial Software. Must be able to handle Accounting Functions efficiently. Auditing skills are needed. Should possess knowledge and experience in Capital Management. Must be able to manage Cash Activity effectively. Compliance with all relevant regulations and standards is mandatory.
