Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in West Springfield, Massachusetts for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Clerk. This role is within the finance sector and will focus on managing and ensuring the accuracy of our accounts receivable operations. The successful applicant will be involved in processing and monitoring incoming payments, securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts, and maintaining precise customer credit records.Responsibilities: Generate and issue invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner. Monitor incoming payments and post them to the appropriate accounts. Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Contact customers regarding overdue payments and reconcile discrepancies as needed. Prepare and maintain various reports related to accounts receivable status. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to invoicing and payments. Update and maintain customer data, including contact information and credit terms. Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Maintain accurate customer credit records. Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with Billing processes Proficient in Cash Applications and Cash Collections Experience in Commercial Collections Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Oracle systems Experience with QuickBooks Knowledge of SAP systems Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
