Job DescriptionThe welder will work alongside fitters (fabricators) to make precision welds on parts. The role involves only welding tasks initially, without any fitting responsibilities.Responsibilities
Perform precision welds on military parts according to company standards
Work with MIG or TIG welding initially, with potential cross-training in other welding types
Utilize customer drawings to perform welding tasks
Handle production welding with many repeat jobs
Essential Skills
Minimum 1-2 years of prior welding experience or equivalent trade school experience with a weld test
Experience with MIG and/or TIG welding
Ability to understand weld symbols and customer drawings
Hours:Monday-Friday, 6am to 2:30/3pm, with half-day Saturdays encouraged and other overtime options available. Most employees work approximately 50 hours per week.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
