Private mail contractor looking for motivated individual to transport bulk mail from local distribution facility to smaller local post offices.
Pay- $26.39/hr
2 weeks paid vacation after 1 year of service
40 Hrs/week
11 Paid holidays per year

Monday- 4:30am-9:35am 4:10pm-6:15pm
Tuesday-Friday 5:05am-9:35am 4:10pm-6:15pm
Saturday 5:05am-9:35am 3:35m-5:45pm
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 6 DAYS A WEEK.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Bulk Mail and Packages Between Postal Facilities: Safely and efficiently transport mail along designated route with accuracy and reliability.
Follow USPS Standards: Ensure all mail is handled according to USPS policies, meeting strict security and safety standards.
Problem Solving: Address on-the-spot issues like weather changes, road closures, and unplanned delays to maintain timely delivery.
Route Familiarity: Learn your route thoroughly, including pick-up and drop-off points, road conditions, and community-specific requirements.
Report any vehicle maintenance needs promptly.
Requirements
Valid Driver’s License: Clean driving record required. (RMV abstract required)
Valid DOT medical card
Must be able to pass federal background check (fingerprinting required) and random drug screening.
No Felonies
2+ years’ experience driving cargo vans or larger
Ability to drive in all weather conditions.
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift 70+ lbs, sit for extended periods, and handle repetitive tasks.
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with efficient time management and the ability to sort and organize mail precisely.
Independence and Initiative: Be prepared to work with minimal supervision.
Adaptability: Rural mail transportation comes with a unique set of challenges. A positive attitude, resilience, and problem-solving mindset are crucial.
