Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Residential Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience painting apartment interiors, with a strong ability to use paint sprayers efficiently and cleanly. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paints, and ensuring high-quality finishes without over spray or mess.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare apartment surfaces for painting by washing walls and priming.
Tape, mask, and protect surfaces not being painted.
Apply paint, stain, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and, most importantly, paint sprayers.
Operate paint sprayers with precision, ensuring clean lines and no over spray or damage to fixtures, floors, or adjacent surfaces.
Clean up work areas and equipment after each job.
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
Maintain inventory of painting supplies and report low stock.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a residential painter, preferably in apartment complexes.
Proficient in using paint sprayers with minimal mess and high attention to detail.
Knowledge of various painting techniques and surface preparation methods.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
