Location: Western Massachusetts and Hartford, Connecticut area

Compensation: Hourly at $20/hour + incentives for appointment setting and converted leads. Mileage reimbursement paid weekly at $0.65/mile.
Description:
Five College Movers, a leading moving services company, is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Door-to-Door Salesman/Door Hanger Representative. As part of our business development and outside sales team, you will be responsible for driving on a daily route, knocking on doors, dropping off door hangers and promotional items, and pitching our services to prospective clients.
Responsibilities:
- Complete daily routes within the designated area, engaging with potential clients.
- Promote Five College Movers' moving services effectively using provided marketing materials and scripts.
- Leave door hangers, promotional literature, and free boxes at each stop to generate interest and brand awareness.
- Connect with and prospect other businesses that have access to our prospective clients (realtors, apartment complexes, etc.).
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service during interactions with potential clients.
- Drive your own reliable vehicle (reimbursed at $0.65/mile for gas and wear and tear) to navigate the daily route efficiently.
- Deliver daily inventory to each house, requiring ownership of a van or truck.
Requirements:
- Must own a reliable vehicle (van or truck) for transportation and inventory delivery.
- Confident, well-spoken, and natural salesmanship skills.
- Ability to communicate confidently, sell professionally, and be comfortable cold calling/selling.
- Familiarity with the Western Massachusetts and Hartford, Connecticut area preferred.
- Excellent navigation skills to efficiently cover assigned routes.
- Availability for full-time work, approximately 6-10 hours per day with 25-50 stops.
