Uvitron International, a developer and manufacturer of UV light curing systems, is looking for a motivated individual to serve as a full-time Shipping and Receiving clerk. In addition to high organizational skills and punctuality, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to work on parallel tasks in a high pace environment with set deadlines.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for checking-in UPS and courier deliveries; inspecting and stocking items received; checking items against invoices and packing slips; prepares discrepancy report as needed.
Responsible for shipping out UPS, FedEx, DHL and freight shipments.
Maintain filing system for customer orders; track all inventory items stored in the warehouse.
Organize warehouse inventory and perform general housekeeping and general cleaning.
ISO 9001 tasks such as processing non-conforming material and logging late shipments.
Assist in assembly or purchasing departments as time permits.
Perform other related duties as required.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent, or GED
Knowledge of basic computer skills required.
The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Strong interpersonal skills for working with outside vendors.
Prior experience with Shipping and Receiving is a plus.
International Shipping experience is a plus.
Fundamental understanding of drawings specs is a plus.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Must be dependable, motivated, organized, trustworthy.
