Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fire Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry, particularly in fire restoration, and will be responsible for restoring properties affected by fire damage. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work with various tools, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
Assess fire damage and develop restoration plans that meet client needs.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for restoration tasks.
Perform mold remediation and ensure that all affected areas are thoroughly cleaned and restored.
Conduct asbestos abatement when necessary, following all safety protocols.
Clean carpets and other surfaces to restore them to pre-damage conditions.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding the restoration process and any necessary updates.
Qualifications
Previous experience in the restoration industry, specifically in fire restoration is preferred.
Knowledge of carpet cleaning techniques and equipment.
Familiarity with mold remediation practices and procedures.
Experience with asbestos abatement is a plus.
Proficient in using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be able to adhere to safety standards at all times.
