Immediate need for a Personal Care Assistant to help care for a disabled woman in Northampton area. She lives on her own (in a scent free environment) and needs help to remain independent. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, medication management, help with personal care, and companionship. She wakes up early and needs help getting going in the morning, so if you're an early bird this would be perfect for you. We need help from 6 am until 2 pm Tuesday through Friday. The important thing is finding the right person and we're willing to be flexible regarding hours. We have a great team of caregivers and need one more reliable woman.
She loves to talk, listen to music, write, go for rides and sit outside in her lovely back yard, weather permitting. The working environment is pleasant and comfortable, but it's not on a bus route so you need a reliable vehicle.
Preference is for an experienced woman, but if you have the heart you can learn the job.
